spring clean!!!

i got up this morning to find clear sky's and lovely sunshine,a little fresh on the walk to school but a lovely day none the less.
so today was the day,i am going to sort out the workshop have a little spring clean maybe sort out some moulds and get rid of the ones no longer in use.
only it didn't go as planned i ended up finding a fab large muffin mould that hadn't had its debut yet and to top it of i also found a large cupcake mould hidden since last summer.
so moulds covering one work surface i moved over to the other one put some wax on to melt and did a test pour in new found moulds and finished a small order.
the end result was i found i didn't want to part with any of my much loved moulds telling myself that i may need that particular design one day,so instead i cleaned them and put them all away again lol! will post some pics of new muffins & cupcakes when I've finished test burning.

mothers day teacup candles...

well mothers day is sunday the 14th of march and i think these make a perfect pressie for all mummies.i love making teacup candles but am finding pretty tea sets really hard to get hold of @ the moment.i also like to colour mine,i know lots of people leave them natural and the bonus is i have these on the website all the time not just for mothers day!
apart from that its a horrible rainy day here and i've been trying to pluck up the courage to go in my garden workshop all day.maybe a good old sniff of my gorgeous scents will Cheer me up and give me some inspiration to make up some new designs for libertylites!!

my first ever blog!!!!

omg! my first ever blog! what an earth shall i write.well lets start an the beginning my name is donna ,i live in middlesex with my husband of 16 years i'm 38 with 3 lovely children.
i'm very lucky to be an @ home mum which gives be time to make bake & create till my hearts content.
my main love is wax,which started with faux food candles & melts.my other passion is bargain hunting i love my possession's so much more if they have been a great bargain or i've up-cycled them in some way.
why start a blog? well i opened www.libertylitearomas.co.uk just before christmas and just feel i needed to add a blog,maybe to give people a little in site into who i am and what i make!!! like these yummy choc & fudge soy tarts,believe me they smell soooooo! gorgeous.....
